THE CORPSE COLLECTOR (2020)
A submission for a death positive anthology – a David Attenborough documentary inspired look at a very scary Japanese yokai. Unfortunately it didn’t make the cut, but you can READ IT HERE!
THE ONI WIFE AND HER HUSBAND (2019)
A submission for an Earth element themed anthology; I focused on earthy flavors. Comes with a quick recipe on how to cook mandrake chips (or burdock root, choose your poison). READ IT HERE.

This 27 comic is part of Iron Circus Comic‘s FTL YA’LL anthology. Granddad’s Second Wife is a space adventure shenanigans story that involves alien I.C.E. and a junky, modified Vanagon.
ZORIA (2018)
ZORIA follows xenobotanist Dr. Midori on her terraforming mission to planet Artio. After an unfortunate event, the ship makes a crash landing, and she has to survive on this peculiar planet until the rescue team arrives… in approximately three years. Can she make it?? Also, what’s that lurking in the shadows?
This comic is a pilot for a pitch I submitted to the BIG SHIP competition in Japan. You can read the Japanese version online at DAYSNEO!

Grandfather was an unapologetic gourmand, but since cancer took hold of him, he can barely keep his food down. One balmy evening, an apparition visits the Narrator’s window – and it wants to tell her something about scrambled eggs.

THE GECKO AND THE THREE GRAVEROBBERS (2013)
Long is an international student from Vietnam. His new country is a land of prosperity and excess, but there are still things that remind him of his homeland and the effects of war. This comic is based on stories my Dad told me about growing up post-Vietnam War.

RUNNER, RUNNER, PANTS ON FIRE (2011)
A love letter to the coastal sage scrub ecosystem of Orange County! The theme is “the end of the world”, but through a simpler view. The main character is a lonely roadrunner who has to outrun the Santa Ana Winds and the resulting fires.
This comic was originally written as a limited edition give-away gift for the Press Paws Charity Show. Later I added pages to something closer to what I had originally intended.
