2022 was the year of reading! I READ THIRTY BOOKS! I finally got a Libby account and was able to listen to more than a book a month!! Also I made book friends on twitter and we bounced recommendations off of each other.
My absolute top three of the year –
The Grace Year – Kim Liggett. Handmaid’s Tale but Ya. It was a bit of slog at first because there’s this permeating sense of dread throughout most of the book, but it was worth it.
A Wizard’s Guide To Defensive Baking – T. Kingfisher. This was a quick read and very easy to emphasize with the main character, she’s hilarious and I love her.
The Witch’s Heart – Genevieve Gornichec. If you enjoyed Madeline Miller’s Circe, this one is for you. A story about the giantess who fell in love with Loki the trickster.
